A Realistic Look at a VR Meetup

Every day, we work on bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds. So when the Tekies and DNAi teams finally met in person for our annual festival, we decided to put on VR headsets and take the experience even further.

This year, the Tekies and DNAi Fest had a completely new dimension. We gathered at Virtuplex, the largest VR hall in Czechia, and explored movement in virtual reality together. It might look like we used this technology just to appear cool as a tech company, but that was not our main motivation. We actually use VR in several real projects. VR works perfectly with AI, which lets us take the virtual reality experience to a much higher level. Of course, the festival offered much more than just a showcase of technology.

Our internal meetups are primarily about staying informed about what’s new. With more than 150 people now in Tekies and DNAi, it is great to see new faces in three dimensions. These gatherings are also a wonderful chance to have informal conversations with colleagues about the same topics we discuss in the office or during online meetings. Why talk about the weather when you are already thinking about its predictive model? Most of our discussions focused on recent technological achievements, but we also talked about five major failures. Since solutions can be found for almost everything sooner or later, we see the outcomes as positive.

The combination of VR and AI is not just a trend. It is a real driver of innovation. AI personalizes and adapts VR environments, making experiences more engaging and tailored to each user. In creative and brainstorming sessions, the mix of VR immersion and AI’s analytical power supports better collaboration and more effective idea generation. This aligns perfectly with the human-centered values of modern industry.
